The Jewelry app is the companion app for the smart bracelet cooperated with the well-known jewelry manufacturer. The concept is to connect people with both the bracelet itself and the app. The timeline on the main page represents the memory between you and your better half. Each moment is the widget that you created for each other and marked in a small charm as your collection. You can create a moment by sending a love card, launching a heating-up, or sharing a bundle of photos.
The heating-up is a small real-time game between you and another. By pressing a two-finger tap, you send a kiss and fill up the heart elixir.
Sending the card to show your love is another gesture to bundle each other. You can select a theme, a song and sign your name on the card to share your delight.
The club feature connects you with the jewelry brand. You get the updated information about the new products and deals and the royalty points as a reward from the manufacturer.
The app displays the real-time activity data from the smart bracelet and saves the statistic of your health behavior. The smart bracelet will also vibrate to remind you of the in-coming new moment from your other half.
Design
We picked up Pandora as the target brand. I started the project by researching its core values and decided to center around its tagline, “Unforgettable Moments.” I elaborated the idea to the timeline and the moment widgets in the main dashboard. The timeline also tells the story of the jewelry owner and his/her companion counterpart. The app ends up centering around the idea of human connection and the personal story.
